Blue is your favorite color I remember
and it is mine too
It took me a while to understand
that we were thinking in completely different shades of blue
Gold is the light my hair reflects
you liked that as well
just like the mind below
You used to love my thoughts
the richness of my feelings
at least during the earlier days when you were not yet 
tangled and lost in their complexity and depth
it took me a while to understand
that instead of inquisitively exploring ways deeper into it
you were now wandering around looking for a way out
I was too distracted by the wonderland that I was enchanted to discover 
to notice that you didn't even see my magic anymore
But the flowers we've planted in each other's mazy,
abysmal heads
in our jungles of hearts
I hope you keep them safe just as I will
they are part of a bewitched garden that grows bigger every day
and in a little while they will solely be a tiny spot within a huge, marvelous wilderness
and we will rarely come across them
but that won't make them any less beautiful
 
They live a life of their own now
a small parallel universe in itself
