My philosophy
My values and my focus were largely shaped by my studies at Alanus University, which I completed with a Master of Arts in art therapy after five intensive years. The authentic engagement with myself and the outside world in a creative context has become an integral part of my life. I would like to convey the beneficial effects of active creative work to other people and dispel the prejudice that you have to be talented. Creativity is for everyone and everyone can find their own access to it.
I believe that combining the joy of artistic activity with learning how to use artistic media skillfully is a key factor for satisfying creative processes. I believe that process-oriented and result-oriented work are not necessarily mutually exclusive, but can be brought together.
My goal is for you to have fun painting and drawing and to experience moments of flow while learning to work towards results that represent your aesthetic sense. I support you in finding your own personal expression. Resource orientation and appreciative interaction with one another is a priority to me.
Personalized one-on-one lessons
Since my childhood, I have drawn energy and meaning from intensive creative processes. I would like to pass on to other people both the ability to fully engage in these and the skills to work with various techniques and materials.
In addition to adult education courses in groups, I offer individual art lessons. This gives you the opportunity to take advantage of lessons that are completely customized to you and your individual needs.
The offer is aimed at everyone aged 15 and up in the Bonn area, both beginners and advanced. No previous artistic experience or talent is necessary!
In an initial consultation, you tell me about your wishes and ideas, based on which we will create an individual curriculum for you. This can be flexibly developed and adapted over the course of the units.
My offer
Learn various techniques with different materials in the context of painting and drawing. My offer focuses on the following painting and drawing materials (both stand-alone and mixed techniques):

Single lesson (60 minutes): 60€
Three hours: 165€*
Five hours: 250€*
*The scaled prices apply to packages booked in advance. Individually booked hours and those that go beyond the respective package remain at a price of 60€ unless a new package is booked. If a package that has already been booked is shortened, the price is retroactively 60€ per hour or, if applicable, the total price of the smaller package.

You decide the pace and the scope, and we will coordinate the dates according to your wishes. You have the option of booking individual lessons or consecutive lessons in advance.
Material
Materials are not included in the price and must be purchased separately. I will be happy to put together a list of materials that is adjusted to your personal curriculum. The list contains all the information you need for an uncomplicated purchase.

Your workplace
The dream of every artistically interested person: your own studio space - a comfortable place to express your creativity. Perhaps you have already set up a workspace or are planning to do so. I am happy to support you and advise you on your equipment! It is not important that it is the perfect studio; the only important thing is that you make some space for your passion.
The idea is that the individual lessons will take place at your home or in your studio space. The big advantage of this is that this space is adjusted exactly to your needs and all your materials are available to you without restriction. You don't have to transport your work and paints from one place to another, which is especially important when working with oil paints. After our session, you can carry on working straight away if you want, without interrupting your process and having to pack up your things.
